Clay Shaper Tools...
Two Clay Shaper Tools are included in this Starter Kit, they are the tools most often used in the DVD. The training DVD does show the use of other Clay Shaper tools, but only minimal use and so these additional tools are not included in the basic kit.
You May Also Need...
You may need a handful of polyfil stuffing or a bag of glass weighting beads for inside the cloth doll body. These items are not included in the starter kit since many artist like to choose their own filling. Stuffing can easily be found at local fabric strores and craft departments in Wal-Mart and other large chain stores. Many sculptors choose to use glass weighting beads instead of stuffing and you can add this option by checking the box below. Glass beads come in two pound bags which is enough for several miniature babies.
Super Sculpey Clay Softner is shown in the training DVD. However, you can use warm water in place of the clay softner. A ruler is also shown in the DVD but most households have a ruler and therefore one is not included in the starter kit. Why buy a ruler when you probably already have one?
That Cute Sculpted Baby in the Picture...
The sculpted miniature baby shown in the picture is not included in the starter kit - it is an example of the type of baby you can create following the DVD instructions and using the tools provided. Doll eyes are not included in the basic starter kit and a sleeping baby is what is shown in the training DVD, so doll eyes are not needed unless you choose to make an open-eyed baby. If this is your first time sculpting it is recommended that you first sculpt a sleeping baby.
Note: Missing from the picture above are the double ended stylus and the needle punch awl tool. These items will be included in the starter kit you receive.
